***Steel with High Quality is processed in furnaces and it reaches up to 52 - 58 Rockwell (HRC) hardness. It is sharpened. Gradual heating technique is applied in over 1000 degrees for best quality sword & knife materials. Then it is held at constant temperature. In furnaces with high technology, the required hardness is got in 500-600 degrees for about 5-6 hours.

The place where the curved sword, also known as the Turkish sword, originated in the Near East, and the oldest examples belong to the 1800s BC. The oldest curved swords that can be regarded as the ancestors of Turkish kilij swords date back to the Altais of the 2000s BC. This type of sword was last found in various sacred tombs during the ascent of the Karakhanids.  There are many statues with curved swords  in Mongolia and Isik Lake regions.
